Congratulations to the 2026 Waterwise Garden Winners!
Hunter Industries and KidsGardening congratulate the grantees of the 2026 Waterwise Garden Grant! These twenty-five elementary and middle schools will be awarded $1,000 in funding and an irrigation supply kit valued at $500.
Programs also had the opportunity to apply for additional funding through the Waterwise Garden Equity Specialty Award. This award was designed to fund new and existing garden programs that have greater funding needs due to, but not limited to, financial, environmental, safety, health, and regulatory challenges. The award will provide five programs with an additional $1,250, for a total of $2,250 in funding.
