Sponsorship Opportunities

Kids Garden Community Sponsor

In 2021, KidsGardening launched a game-changing new initiative to grow young gardeners. In order to inspire, inform, educate, and build a stronger nationwide community of youth garden educators, KidsGardening developed a collaborative online platform called The Kids Garden Community. The goal of the Community is to provide a central location for direct networking for teachers, parents and other garden educators.

Youth Garden Grant Sponsor

Beginning with 50 awards in 1982, KidsGardening’s Youth Garden Grant is the oldest and longest-running award of its kind. This award is designed to build capacity for under-resourced school and youth educational garden projects that enhance the quality of life for students and their communities.

For the next program year, fifty programs will receive award packages consisting of a cash prize and a variety of gardening tools and supplies.

We have several levels of sponsorship from our lead "Harvesting" level sponsor to "Planting" level sponsors.

Sponsorship

Levels range from $1,000 -$10,000. Ask us about adding on a product donation!

Photo Contests

These yearly contests engage our audience in sharing fun and authentic images. Each contest runs for one month and is promoted via web, email, and social. Contests typically see well over 500 entries, and thousands of views of the contest landing page. Prizes can feature your company’s products or services, or simply be a fun way to reach our audience.

Kids Garden Month

KidsGardening celebrates Kids Garden Month throughout the month of April. This is an opportunity to lift up the powerful impact gardens have on kids’ lives. All month long, KidsGardening interacts with its audience of parents, educators, and caregivers via email, social media, and website to encourage children’s participation in the KidsGarden Month contest around a specific theme.

Custom Youth Garden Build

For more than 40 years, KidsGardening has used our experience as youth garden designers and educators to install and improve high-impact, fun, and sustainable youth gardens across the country.

Our expertise, guidance, and streamlined services ensure efficient communication and collaboration, making it easy for your organization and a given school, educational facility, or youth center to fully engage in the exciting process of creating or improving a youth garden!

From companies looking to make an impact in their community through a one-time event, school districts wanting to revitalize unused garden spaces, and corporations interested in a day of service or annual volunteer initiatives, we can design and project-manage a garden installation or day of service in any community across the United States.

Custom Grant Program

KidsGardening launched the first youth garden grant in the country in 1982. Since then, we have awarded tens of thousands of youth garden programs across the country with funds and supplies needed to get more kids growing through the garden.

Over the years we have worked with a number of corporate partners to administer high impact grant programs that deliver all of the benefits of gardening—including growing a new generation of gardeners—while driving our audience to the brand and helping position them as socially and environmentally responsible.

KidsGardening has a trusted team of experts with deep experience designing and administering garden grant programs that deliver life-changing benefits to kids and their communities. Instead of developing prescriptive programs, we design grant programs that allow educators to think outside the box about how they can design impactful locally appropriate programs.
