Transparency

KidsGardening is open with our financial documents and our history as a national nonprofit organization.

As a 501(c)(3) organization, KidsGardening is committed to responsible use of donor dollars to further our mission to get all kids learning through the garden. We strive to keep our overhead low. As a small organization, we are proud of the outsized impact we are able to have.

Our History

Founded as a program of the National Gardening Association in 1982, KidsGardening became an independent nonprofit in 2016. As a result, we have the flexibility and culture of a start-up with nearly 40 years experience growing the youth garden movement.

With this relaunch we also renewed our commitment to collaboration.

Fiscal Responsibility

KidsGardening is committed to transparency and fiscal responsibility. Please find our prior year tax forms below. Reach out to Executive Director, Em Shipman, with any questions.
