KidsGardening offers a variety of grants to new and existing youth garden programs across the nation. Each funding opportunity has its own timeline, defining features, eligibility requirements, and reporting expectations. 2023 Lots of Compassion Grant
Together Mrs. Meyers Clean Day and KidsGardening are announcing the new Lots of Compassion grant program, designed to support local leaders looking to transform vacant lots into gardens to help grow compassion in their community. In 2023, up to 10 grantees will receive $20,000 each to transform a vacant lot into a garden. A total of $200,000 will be awarded annually.
The application is now closed. Award announcements will be made on July 31, 2023.

2023 GroMoreGood Grassroots Grant
The GroMoreGood Grassroots Grant, brought to you by The Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation and KidsGardening, is designed to bring the life-enhancing benefits of gardens to communities across the United States. 160 programs will be awarded in 2023.

2023 Youth Garden Grant
Since 1982, the Youth Garden Grant has supported school and youth educational garden projects that enhance the quality of life for students and their communities. In 2023, fifty programs will receive award packages consisting of a cash prize and a variety of gardening tools and supplies.

2023 Budding Botanist Grant
Designed to further the mission of the Klorane Botanical Foundation, the Budding Botanist grant will help our students learn about plants, explore their world, and inspire them to take care of the life they discover in their local ecosystems. In 2023, twenty schools across the country will be awarded $1000 each in grant funding.

2022 Little Seeds Pollinator Pals Grant
The Little Seeds Pollinator Pals Grant, presented by Little Seeds and KidsGardening, is designed to support youth garden programs interested in preserving and creating pollinator habitat to help rebuild declining pollinator populations. In 2022, twenty programs will be awarded $500 to support the development of new and expansion of existing pollinator gardens in communities across the United States.
