Happier, Healthier Kids
Gardening engages every child’s innate wonder and care for the natural world, offers them opportunities to participate in hands-on learning, and teaches them where their food comes from. Young people who participate in gardening programs enjoy dramatic, documented gains across a diverse range of critical growth areas including personal well-being, food security, nutritional awareness and attitudes, environmental stewardship, and community connectedness.
At KidsGardening, we want every child to experience the unique transformation that occurs when they spend time caring for a garden, be it outside, in a classroom, or in a cup on the kitchen windowsill. Since 2016, KidsGardening has served as a premier support provider for youth garden programs nationwide. KidsGardening’s resources reach millions of young people annually, helping them engage their natural curiosity and acquire new learning through hands-on gardening experiences.
