My sister and I got up really realy early one day because we kept missing the butterflies emerging. We had 6 black swallowtail butterfly chrysalis and one monarch chrysalis in our garden! Then one day we came out and we got to see a black swallowtail right after it came out. I think it remembered us checking on it when it was a caterpillar and my sister would sing to the chrysalis. I think it waited to see us. We were almost late to our appointment, but mom said it was worth it.

Our teachers and students love picking fresh vegetables from our garden! Tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots and more we get to taste and take home the veggies we grow.
Prizes
A total of ten winners will be chosen. Two photographs will be chosen from each of the above five categories, for a total of ten category winners.
Each winner will be awarded a fun prize package that includes:
- 2 picture books (Five winners will receive a copy of Linden: The story of a tree)
- Seeds
- Grow bag
- Olivia’s Organics coupon (regional dependent)
Our favorite photo will receive the above prize package PLUS a special prize from Gurney's!
