Larry is Vice President, Content Licensing at Meredith Publishing, with strategic and operational responsibility over content licensing for all Meredith media brands, including EatingWell, Shape, All Recipes, Better Homes and Gardens, Parents, Family Circle and Martha Stewart. The content licensing program leverages Meredith’s intellectual property for distribution to new channels focusing on health and wellness, food, home and family sectors. Larry previously served as General Manager at EatingWell Media Group.

Larry has been a gardening enthusiast and advocate since he began developing regional food systems in the 1970’s. He moved to Vermont in 1980 to join the nonprofit organization Gardens For All as National Director for Community Gardening and later became Senior VP for the National Gardening Association (formerly Gardens for All), where he was instrumental in growing it into the nation’s largest member-supported gardening organization with over 250,000 members. Larry authored three books on community gardening and also served as publisher of National Gardening Magazine.

Larry resides in Charlotte, Vermont. He continues to work on self-reliance at home and in communities by gardening and promoting sustainable land practices.
