Marcus Glenn
Marcus Glenn is a champion for garden-based learning and equitable food access. As the Farm to School Department Executive Director for Houston ISD- Nutrition Services, he oversees a 6.5‑acre production and educational farm, the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program, hands‑on food education for students in grades 3–8 and sustainability efforts.
He holds degrees from Prairie View A&M University and Iowa State University and previously served as a 4‑H Agent supporting school garden and youth nutrition programs across Harris County (Houston), TX.
Marcus is a long-time member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and serves on the Executive Board of AGORA Sustainability leading the Culture of Sustainability work group. He is dedicated to helping children and families build meaningful connections to food, health, and the natural world. Marcus lives in Houston, TX with his wife Tia and their daughters Mila and Tessa.
