Midori is a healthcare technology executive and entrepreneur. She is currently the VP of Strategic Operations at Viz.ai, an AI-powered care coordination platform that connects hundreds of thousands of patients to life-saving treatment. Prior to Viz.ai, she was VP of Business Development at Cedar, a consumer-friendly patient payment solution, following Cedar’s acquisition of OODA Health, where Midori was co-founder and head of provider partnerships. Midori brings experience from roles in state government, nonprofit healthcare delivery, and management consulting at Bain & Company. She holds a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University and an MBA and MPP from Harvard University.

A lifelong nature-lover, she has rediscovered the magic of our outside world through the eyes of her young son, who demands to go “out and about” as soon as he wakes up. She loves tending her small but vibrant backyard with her neighbors and enjoying the incredible flora of northern California. Midori is delighted to support KidsGardening in its mission to bring the wonder of gardening to more kids.
