2022 Summer Photo Contest

It's time for our annual summer photo contest! We have FIVE fun categories and will award a total of THIRTY winners!

Categories

Kids in the garden. Kids being kids in the garden! Happy, silly, digging, harvesting, nibbling, working, and or resting young gardeners.

Family, friends, community. Youth gardening is often a community endeavor. Show us kids WITH the adults who make the garden possible.

My garden. Kids, take a photo of your garden! Whether it's indoor or outdoor, hydroponic or aquaponic, in a raised bed or in a bucket, we can't wait to see what makes your garden special.

Garden creatures. Pollinators, worms, insects, and pets in the garden!

Garden lessons. Show us garden-based learning in action! Garden art, science, caring for a peer, service projects, and more.

Prizes

A total of thirty winners will be chosen. Two photographs will be chosen from each of the above five categories, for a total of ten category winners. Twenty honorable mentions will also be chosen.

Category winners will receive a $50 gift card to Gardener's Supply Company and a seed collection. Honorable mention winners will receive a seed collection.

Winners will be contacted and announced on August 30, 2022.

Rules

Two entries per household, per category.

Entries must be received by 11:59pm Pacific on August 8, 2022. 

International entries are welcome, but only folks with U.S. based addresses will be considered for prizes.
