KidsGardening, American Meadows, and High Country Gardens want to thank educators and parents teaching children about Pollinators with the BEE the Change Summer Pollinator Garden Giveaway. Launching Pollinator Week (June 19-25, 2017), the collaboration will give away pollinator plants and seeds to 31 winners.
The Grand Prize is a pollinator garden—up to 80 plants to cover an area of 1,000 sq. ft—designed by High Country Gardens Chief Horticulturist Dave Salman or American Meadows pollinator plant expert Mike Lizotte.
The additional 30 awards are a ‘10-plant collection’ each selected specifically for your region.
Anyone who has or wants to teach kids (K-12) about pollinators through gardening. Whether you’re a teacher, parent, community, municipality or any other organization, you’re eligible to win! KidsGardening will be choosing a total of 30 recipients with one Grand Prize Winner. Winning entries will be selected at random, with half representing home gardens and the remaining chosen from school, community or other organizations. The Grand Prize winner will be chosen by the enthusiasm and interest in having a pollinator garden.
Contest runs from June 19-August 31, 2017
Winner selection on September 10, 2017
Awards will ship in mid to late September, 2017
