Kids Garden Month

Kids Garden Month is an annual celebration of kids in the garden! Each April, we celebrate kid gardeners, as well as lifting up the many positive benefits gardening has on kids have on their community through gardening.

This year, we are asking kids to tell us what they love about gardening OR why other kids should garden!

Entries can be pictures, short videos, art, or creative writing! Entries are judged on creativity, originality, and enthusiasm.

Will you share about the Kids Garden Month contest? As the contest runs the entire month of April, we are encouraging you to share at the time of the month that works best for you. Here are a few sample social media posts, or feel free to draft your own. Additionally, if your organization is celebrating kids in the garden in April, please let us know so we can share about it and add to the celebration. We are excited to share / story what you post!
