Help us save our pollinators!
As a founding partner of the National Pollinator Garden Network, KidsGardening.org is working with dozens of conservation and gardening organizations to foster awareness about the importance of pollinators and gather support for the protection of pollinator habitats through the Million Pollinator Garden Challenge.
The Million Pollinator Garden Challenge is a nationwide call to action to preserve and create gardens and landscapes that help revive the health of bees, butterflies, birds, bats and other pollinators across America. We will move millions of individuals, kids and families outdoors and make a connection between pollinators and the healthy food people eat.
Designed to engage Americans in creating pollinator habitat across the nation, the network is launching the Challenge in support of President Barack Obama’s call to action to reverse the decline of pollinator species, such as honey bees and native bees, as well as monarch butterflies.
