April is Kids Garden Month
"What makes your garden grow?"
makes your garden grow. Entries can be submitted by individuals, or by a class or group. Each week we’ll choose a favorite entry to receive a prize package, and at the end of the month we’ll award two grand prize winners – one to an individual and one to a group or class.
Teachers, caregivers, and parents:
KidsGardening asks kids (0-18) to submit photos, video, song, drawing, artwork, or words (essay, poem) about what grows in their garden. Creativity is encouraged. If you work with kids who aren't verbal or who don't write, an adult can caption their entry (or not). Information on how to enter the 2020 Kids Garden Month contest will be available at a later time.
Submitting an entry gives KidsGardening.org permission to use the entry in the future. We welcome entries from around the world, but only U.S. entries will be considered for prizes.
The Kids Garden Month 2020 contest is open from April 1 - April 30, 2020.
Each week, KidsGardening judges will randomly select one favorite entry from the week to receive a weekly prize. Weekly awardees will be announced via social media on Fridays. (4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 5/1). Stay tuned for weekly prize details.
All group and individual entries will be eligible for the grand prizes. KidsGardening judges will choose two grand prize winners: one individual and one group or class. Grand prize winners will be announced in mid-May. Stay tuned for grand prize details.
Winners are at the sole discretion of KidsGardening.
